Pretending That I Can Sing

Seeing as how Bridget was probably the person most persuasive in convincing me to start a blog, I figure my first real post should be about her.

See, the other day we were driving around and she was going through radio stations but couldn't find anything that she wanted to listen to. Then she stopped. The next few minutes involved us singing Living On a Prayer as loud as we could. Not that I sing well. And Bon Jovi probably isn't Bridget's best talent. But sometimes you just need to belt it.

So I composed a short list of songs that sometimes you need to sing a little louder than others.

Bon Jovi - Living On a Prayer
Lil Jon - Get Low
AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long
Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart
Toby Keith - . . . most of his songs
The Temptations - Build Me Up Buttercup
Johnny Mathis - Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me
Garth Brooks - Callin' Baton Rouge
Fall Out Boy - Thanks For The Memories
Josh Turner - Would You Go With Me
Jeremias - Uno y Uno Es Igual a Tres
Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive
Blondie - Call Me
Foreigner - Juke Box Hero

There's a lot more that can go on there. And if you laugh at some of them, don't lie to yourself. You know you sing along when you're alone.

And how could I forget one of the best:

The Carpenters - Superstar

Nelly Furtado - I'm Like A Bird.

Don't even pretend you don't know all the words.

Amarillo by Mornin', George Straite, El Paso, Marty Robbins....How can you NOT sing along with these two classics???

Singing loud is different than singing along. El Paso is not exactly the song for that . . . Good song though.

You sing along with it, I sing along LOUD. Out in the west Texas town of El Paso.....I can't figure out how to change the font size or bold this so just imagine it really, really, LOUD!!!
